PwC Takes Private Company Services To Florida

PwC US has taken its private company services practice to Florida, offering audit and assurance, tax and advisory services to private companies, their owners and HNW individuals in the Sunshine State.

PwC said it expects to grow its number of professionals in the region by nearly 50 per cent across the next three years across offices in Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando and Ft Lauderdale.

“We've expanded our national practice exponentially and expect Florida to be our fastest growing market for private company services to date,” said Rich Stovsky, US leader of PwC's private company services practice.

As part of its expansion, PwC has appointed David Zimmerman as leader of the Florida practice, based in Tampa.

“Florida has become a hotbed for fast-growing private companies, both domestically and for international companies seeking expansion in the US,” said Zimmerman. “With increased competition, regulatory shifts and a fierce battle for talent, we are seeing an increased demand for our services.”

The practice will serve industries and sectors including manufacturing, retail, distribution, transportation, real estate development/leasing and business/professional services.
